Your company intranet, ready inside SharePoint.

SPHub is one package for SharePoint Online. Install it and your site gets a home page, a menu, 27 web parts and the lists behind them, in your own tenant and on your own data.

Everything on this page comes from SPHub. Point at a name to find it on the screen.

What your people open every day

Communication on the home page, request forms for the work behind it, and one settings page for the people who run it.

A home page on day one

The setup wizard creates the home page and the pages for each module, builds the site menu, and can make the new page your site’s front page. Editors change it with SharePoint’s own page editor.

  • Recent Documents
  • Department Links

Events, answers and birthdays

Each of these reads a list the installer created. To add an event or a new FAQ answer, an editor adds an item to that list and the page updates.

  • Corporate FAQ
  • Birthdays

Forms that replace the spreadsheet

Leave, expenses, assets, travel, procurement, recruitment, vehicles, contracts and issues each get their own forms and views. The New Asset form has two steps, Identity & Ownership and Purchase & Media; the screenshot below shows an earlier version of it.

Request modules can email the people each one notifies when a request is created or updated, through Microsoft Graph, using templates your team edits in a SharePoint list.

  • Annual Leave
  • Expenses
  • Assets
  • Travel
  • Procurement
  • Recruitment
  • Vehicles
  • Contracts
  • Issues

One page to run it

The choices people pick from, such as asset types or expense categories, are managed per module on a single Settings page. Nobody needs to open list settings.

The SP Hub Settings page listing settings for Asset Manager, Consent Module, Content Scheduler, Contract Manager, Expense Tracker, Issue Tracker, Lunch Menu, Procurement Tracker, Recruitment Tracker, Travel Requests and the SPHub installer.

Three steps, done once by an administrator

There is no per-site activation to repeat, and no developer needed afterwards.

  1. Upload the package to your App Catalog

Deploy SPHub.sppkg tenant-wide. It sets skipFeatureDeployment, so no site has to be activated by hand.

  2. Approve three Graph permissions

In SharePoint Admin Center, under API access, approve Mail.Send, User.Read and People.Read. That is everything SPHub asks for.

  3. Run setup on your site

SPHub creates all of its lists and fields and sets up each list’s default view; you then choose the modules that get their own pages and menu entries. Every step checks before it writes, so running it again is safe.

It looks like your company

SPHub builds a web part’s whole theme from one colour: buttons, headers, badges and links. You decide where that colour comes from.

  • Use your site themeNew web parts follow your SharePoint site’s theme until you change them.
  • Set one colour for the siteEnter your brand colour in Settings, and every web part that follows the site picks it up.
  • Choose per web partPick a preset or type a colour, and add your own stylesheet if you need more.

Your content stays in your tenant

Content lives in ordinary SharePoint lists that you can open, export, back up and audit.

  • No separate database

SharePoint stores everything. A licence check sends your Microsoft 365 tenant ID to licenses.sphub.co, and the sample items setup creates load pictures and videos from public hosts until you replace them.

  • Your permissions stay as they are

SharePoint decides who sees what. SPHub adds no permission model of its own.

  • Works in Teams too

Most web parts can be added as a Teams tab. Inside Teams they follow the Teams theme.

  • Safe to run again

Setup skips anything that already exists, so upgrades and re-runs never duplicate a list.
